Kyle, Jeff, Richard, Kiara and John...please prepare some remarks on this topic for discussion at beginning of class Thursday. Thanks! If I've missed anyone this semester let me know, but I think all of the class will have given a brief oral presentation by end of this week. Let me know if I goofed.
When you die, I believe that you will go to heaven where God determines if you belong there or if you have done something truely awful in your life that you dont. I think that then there is ressurection where you will be forgiven of your sins and imperfections and you are then free to live in peace with your family and friends that are in heaven as well.

I believe that a person is either sent to heaven or to hell. It all depends on the kind of person they are and the things they have sinned on. I also believe though that everyone is awarded a fair chance to make things right in their life before they go.

ReplyDeleteWhere do we go after we die? I beileve that we either go to heaven or hell. It all depends on how you lived life and if we learn from our sins that we did while on earth. And if you make when judgment day comes. Through the Christian belief after death we all go to either heaven or earth.
There are many other beilefs from other religions,colts,and etc some may say that we just die or are reborn through another life.
If I was to answer this question I would say that we either go to heaven or hell hopefully we all could go to heaven and live in peace and happiness

I believe when you die you will either go to heaven or hell but it will depend on if you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior into your life, asking for forgiveness and he will forgive you for your sins which means being save and living by the accordance to God word. But if you didn’t accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior and didn’t follow his word, then you will be sent to hell. It won’t depend on if you were a good or bad person during your life. You have to continue will being saved. When we die I believe that we will go into dust from where we came from and wait until judgment day which God will decide where we will go.

ReplyDeleteWhen we die I believe our spirit leaves our body and transcends to a higher realm of existence that I choose to call heaven. I perceive heaven as the ‘home’ of God. I think that once our spirit is out of our body ‘death’ is very peaceful, beyond our imagination, and we are reunited with family members and friends that have already died. I also believe, contrary to popular opinion, that there is a special place for our beloved pets - it would just not be perfect paradise if my dogs were not there!

Being a Christian I believe that upon our death, the soul leaves the body and awaits the second coming of Christ. At that time we will either join God in eternity or we will be cast into Hell for eternity. If we join God in eternity we will take on a perfect form and live in a perfect environment {heaven} reunited with our loved ones.
I am a strong believer of Christianity and we believe every man pays for their wrong doings. And its a matter of if they get their life together or not to decide where they are going(either heaven or hell).Now i believe that if God was to come in this very moment without me knowing i would go to hell because of my life not being on the right track. But i do plan on getting my life right before i die so i really plan on going to heaven. Also just an FYI god doings is not the ticket into living a great eternal afterlife its all based on who you claim to believe in which mainly is Jesus all the rest of the info is mans learning for them self to look into in the bible.
ReplyDeleteI believe we either go to Heaven or hell. After your pass away, even though your remains are here on earth still..i believe your soul goes up to heaven. Then I think thats where they decide if you go to heaven or hell. Determining that is how and what you do in your life.

I believe there is life after death. Being a strong Christian, I think that we are all here on this earth for a reason and that it is a test of our faith and our willingness to follow Christ. I think if we stay faithful to the lord and do the best we can on this earth, we will prosper in the after life. It is hard for me to believe that people think there is no God. The way everything works together is just too amazing to be a coincidence. If you think about it, a blade of grass goes through so many tiny chemical reactions to become that little speck on this earth... and you are telling me there wasn't a greater being who thought of this? Or how about the development of a baby inside of a woman, it is an unbelievable process and a miracle in itself. There has to be a heaven, and God has given us the proper steps to get there. With free agency, we can choose to believe or not. It is a very interesting thought. Albert Einstein once said, "I want to know God's thoughts, everything else are just details."

I have been raised Roman Catholic, and religion is a big part of my life. I strongly believe that after death we either go to Heaven or hell. If you have lived a good life and tried your best to be like Jesus then I believe you will go to Heaven. Even if you have sinned, I believe that if you are truly sorry for your sins then God will forgive you. I believe we are all meant to follow and try to act like Jesus and follow the ten commandments and if you live a good life, you will be rewarded with eternal life in Heaven. I have no clue what Heaven will be like and nobody will ever know but I believe what the Bible says and that Heaven is paradise.

I believe when someone dies, they go to Heaven or Hell, depending on how they chose to live their life, and whether they chose to believe in The Lord and Christ. Obviously I then believe in life after death, not ghosts, but having your spirit go to Heaven or Hell. I believe that when a person makes it to Heaven, you will meet God at the pearly gates followed by the street of gold. I believe that once you speak with God you follow the street of gold to where you will spend eternity, always happy and free. I believe that it will be the place where you have always dreamed of and have always been most happy at, surrounded by family and friends that have passed before you. On the other hand, I believe that you have to have done something so horrible and unforgivable, that you would not deserve to have eternal happiness. I have not given Hell much thought for the obvious reasons of it being Hell.
From what I've come to learn from my 20 years of living and experiencing, everything in the existence of nature is subject to the organic Law of Conservation of Energy. Holding true that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be transform from one state to another. The application of the (Law) to the subject of Human existence doesn't prove an after life instead another form of existence (phase, state) for our organic energy; death being the mode of transformation. Whether we function as a psychological and physical whole is beyond my knowledge and ability to think about.

I believe that when we die we go to heaven or he**. I think that it is up to God to determine which one you will go to. If you go to heaven you are perfect. If you were sick then you will not be sick ever again. But if God said that you may not enter into heaven then you will go to he**. But it is all up to the way you live your life and how well you obey God’s commands.
when a person passes away i believe that they go to a better place where they are happy. it doesnt have to be called heaven, just a place where their spirit lives on in happiness.
ReplyDeleteI went to Catholic school for 9 years. I believe that when some one dies that they will either go to heaven, purgatory, or hell. I believe that only the worst people in the world go to hell. A lot of us will go to purgatory (my opinion)where we will have to better ourselves and earn a spot in heaven. Where you go depends on how you acted as a person in God's social experiment we call earth. I don't think this is what life is really like because we only have human minds and cannot even comprehend what we are about to witness when we die.
